2023 elections: Online in-laws celebrate Judy Austin for declaring support for Peter Obi

Judy Austin has won the admiration of some social media users after she declared support for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi.

The actress, who is actor Yul Edochie’s second wife, publicised her support for the politician in a post via her Instagram handle.

In the post which has gone viral, Judy shared a picture with the LP logo, and Peter Obi with an inscription saying:

“I Judy Austin Yul Edochie stand with Peter Obi for a better Nigeria.”

The post has attracted positive comments from supporters of the politician who commended her for joining the Obedients movement.

In another news, Nigerian actress, Judy Austin, has reasserted her position as the wife of Yul Edochie, a day after the actor apologised to his first wife, May, for marrying a second wife.

In a post via her Instagram page, she referred to herself as her excellency Judy Austin Yul-Edochie.

The post was accompanied by a feel-good video in which she was singing while driving a vehicle.
