Governor Yahaya Bello has announced a remarkable 100% increase in the allowances of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members deployed to Kogi state, politics Nigeria reports.

The announcement came during the 2023 Batch ‘B’ Stream 2 closing ceremony of the NYSC at the State’s Orientation Camp in Kabba Bunu Local Government Area.

In addition to the allowance increment, Governor Bello announced a generous donation of N37.7 million as logistics support for the Youth Corps members.

This support aims to facilitate their smooth transition to their respective places of primary assignment.
