Ice Network in an official announcement via its X account and other Socials this afternoon made it known to the public to Ice Network Miners the latest switch on wallet address for its token distribution which is set to commence this Month.
Snow Men had earlier been directed by Ice Network Core Team to link their Ethereum (ERC 20) wallet address to their Ice Network accounts. They as well instructed their community to use only address from Non Custodial Wallets such as Trust Wallet, Metamask, OKx Web 3 Wallet, e.t.c.
All these were done in preparation for Ice Network partial launch on Uniswap, which will enable eligible Ice Network miners who have passed their KYC 1 and 2 to swap their Ice Tokens for other Coins on the available DEX or for fiat after swapping.
A very good percentage of Ice Network miners weren't comfortable with the idea of using Ethereum addresses and the Uniswap ideology as well. This is due to the usual hike in gas fee on the Ethereum Blockchain which will give Ice Network miners serious obstacles when time for Swapping their Ice Tokens on Uniswap or the available DEX arrives.
The community without hesitation initiated a strong move, calling on the attention of Ice Network Team to look for possible options that will put smile on the faces of its Miners.
Surprisingly, today, the Ice Core Team announced the switching of wallet address for token distribution from Ethereum (ERC 20) to Binance Smart Chain (BSC). This development boosted the believe, love and support Ice Network miners have for the Ice Network Core Team and the Ice Project at large.
Below are steps to follow for switching of your Ice Network Tokens distribution wallet address from Ethereum (ERC 20) to Binance Smart Chain (BSC)
Step 1: Update your Ice Network App from your App Store.
Step 2: Launch your Trust Wallet, Metamask, OKx Web 3 Wallet or any other Non Custodial Wallet.
Step 3. Search for Binance Smart Chain (BSCX on Trust Wallet) and tap on it.
Step 4. Tap on the receive button to display your BSC wallet address.
Step 5. Copy your BSC wallet address.
Step 6. Launch your Ice Network App.
Step 7. Locate the column for submitting wallet address on your Ice Network Dashboard and tap on it.
Step 8. Paste your BSC wallet address and confirm.
And there you GO! You're done with the submission of your BSC wallet address for Ice Network Token Distribution.
Ice Network will this month commence the distribution of its token to Ice Network miners for swap. This will be done on Monthly basis till October 2024 when Ice Network will be launching its mainnet. Snow Men will receive a partial percentage of their Ice Tokens this month with accurate calculations to follow in subsequent months.
NOTE: Only those who have passed their Ice Network KYC 1 and 2 are eligible to receive their Ice Tokens. Make sure you do the needful by doing your KYC and binding your BSC wallet address as soon as possible and you're good to go.
